Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. (WTI) recently introduced its Patch & Repair Quick Price Tool, an innovative app that allows its sales representatives to complete patch and repair quotes under $7,500 right from a cell phone or tablet. The app reviews each item for consideration—from Tremco materials and supplies, to labor, equipment and travel. It then calculates the final selling price and instantly emails a copy of the completed quote.

The app allows WTI’s sales force to be more efficient while working in the field. One of its biggest benefits is that Tremco updates the app regularly, which ensures regional day rates and material pricing are current based on any changes within the business—eliminating the need to double check against the price book.

In addition to its ease of use and efficiency, the app has provided greater visibility into the volume of projects that are being quoted below the $7,500 threshold—which is a significant percentage of Tremco’s patch and repair projects each year. In fact, the app shows exactly what is being quoted and where, which significantly improves the team’s resource planning to help drive resources and hiring in a way that better supports the business as a whole.

Over the past few months, the app has received great feedback from WTI’s sales force, and it continues to improve efficiency within the business.
