A couple weeks ago, a Toronto-based representative from Latitude Air Ambulance arrived at Rust-Oleum Canada’s Concord, Ontario, location, explaining that the international aeromedical solutions provider was in dire need of a Concrobium Mold Control fogger—a Rust-Oleum brand. One of the company’s air ambulance helicopters was grounded and needed to be thoroughly disinfected before it could return to its call of critical medical duty.
At the time, Rust-Oleum Canada’s inventory of Concrobium foggers was sold out due to the recent surge in demand. However, associates from the company’s customer service and distribution center teams were up for the challenge and managed to locate a demo fogger in their showroom. Given that the Latitude Air Ambulance representative was unable to depart on his mission without first defogging his helicopter, Rust-Oleum Canada decided to donate the fogger to ensure the helicopter would be up and running again, safely, as soon as possible. The representative was extremely appreciative and, as a result of their swift, collective efforts, two lives were saved.
Kudos to Rust-Oleum Canada for coming up with a quick, innovative solution to help out an important customer. As customer service associate Terry Thorpe put it, “Rust-Oleum is helping to protect lives!”
