The Global Service Centre (GSC) was an initiative that PCG started in 2018 with the establishment of the first centre in Queretaro, Mexico which quickly followed with the build out of the second centre in Coimbatore, India in 2020.
The main aim of the GSC is to provide centralized transactional support for all our business units in areas like Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, Compliance, Business Intelligence and Compliance. Highly skilled associates are recruited offshore to fill the onshore skills shortages.
The PCG Global Service Centre in Coimbatore, India has run out of space in less than a year of operation. The rapid growth of the GSC surpassed the moderate growth forecast by a huge margin and plans were set in motion to extend the current facility to cater for all the associates.
PCG built an additional 28,000 square-foot facility capable of seating 230 people in one shift and up to 450 over multiple shifts. The new centre features a 15-seat training room, a fully automated board room, an innovation room for our process engineers and a cafeteria on the terrace.
The centre which operates 18 hours a day, six days a week, has been branded in line with RPM’s benchmarks and is truly world class, embracing the building a better world philosophy.
