During the month of September, a team of Nullifire associates have been participating in a fundraiser designed to support Burn Camps, which hosts residential camps and day events for young burn survivors in the UK. The team has pledged to collectively walk, run, cycle or swim a total of 1,000 miles throughout the month to raise donations for the organization.

The idea for the “Nullifire Steps Up” fundraiser came to life after Nullifire’s plans to participate in the charity’s annual fire engine pull was cancelled as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Upon completion of the 1,000 miles, Nullifire associates are aiming to raise £1,000 (or approximately $1,285 USD) in donations for Burn Camps and are on track to reach this target.

Organized by Nullifire’s Marketing Manager Laura Smith and Sales Director Gary Pullinger, this fundraiser has been a great way to encourage team members to be active while giving back to the community in a way that promotes social distancing.
