Despite extraordinary challenges brought on by the global Covid-19 pandemic, widespread ice storms and other significant obstacles, DAP’s manufacturing plant in Dallas, Texas, still has a lot to celebrate. Not only did the facility boast record production over the past year, but it was also recognized with its first-ever MS-168 Plant Award for leveraging RPM’s MS-168 program to deliver impressive MAP to Growth operational savings in fiscal 2020.
In recognition of these major milestones, DAP’s Dallas facility hosted a carnival-themed event in late April that consisted of fun activities such as a photo booth, mechanical bull ride, cornhole, caricature artist, dancing, food and more. Orchestrated by Rob Nagel, the facility’s plant manager, the event had about 160 employees in attendance across DAP and RPM’s leadership.
In an effort to ensure a Covid-friendly event, all employees were required to wear face masks and practice social distancing. In addition, the celebration was divided into two separate events to help accommodate employees across the facility’s four work shifts.
Congrats to the team at DAP’s Dallas facility for these incredible accomplishments!
