This week is Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week, which takes place November 7 – 13. It also marks one year since RPM launched its Route 168 compliance awareness campaign.
As we continue our journey down Route 168, we drive compliance and ethics across RPM and its operating companies by putting our code of conduct, the Values & Expectations of 168, into practice each and every day.
Over the last 12 months, RPM has successfully raised awareness across the organization for a variety of important compliance and ethics topics, which has further fostered a culture of growth that is rooted in the Value of 168. This includes topics such as:
- Gifts and entertainment;
- Data privacy;
- IT security;
- Conflicts of interest;
- Anti-bribery/anti-corruption;
- Anti-trust/competition law;
- Business partner management;
- Responsible sourcing/trade compliance; and
- Reportable events.
All Route 168 compliance awareness materials can be accessed via the RPM Navigator online resource center at navigator.rpminc.com. Navigator was launched this past summer and offers multi-lingual capabilities for all RPM associates.
Our Route 168 compliance awareness program is founded on our corporate philosophy set forth by RPM founder Frank C. Sullivan, with the figure “168” representing the number of hours in a week. It signifies RPM’s enduring commitment to conduct business by doing the right things, the right way, for the right reasons.
We know that sometimes doing the right thing can be hard, so when in doubt – ask for help. Your compliance team is here for you. If you have any questions or concerns related to compliance, please contact RPM’s compliance team at compliance@rpminc.com.
As always, thank you for all you do to help bring the Value of 168 to life at RPM and for continuing to make our Route 168 journey a success.
