Mantrose Hauser’s Marketing Manager, Colleen Byrnes began collecting money and household items for Ukraine at the end of February 2022. “What started as a small thing, totally blew up to more than I could have imagined!”
She spread the word to Mantrose-Hauser’s Westport office. The entire marketing department and other employees contributed. To date, Colleen raised over $4,000, most of which was spent on medical supplies. She’s also donated eight packed carloads of household items.
The items collected were donated to a local Ukrainian family who has a network of drivers transporting items to Meest Warehouses – a Ukrainian shipping company. The items are then split to Poland for refugees and Kyiv for hospitals.
